Howdy, I’m Suyogya
I’m a Sr. Happiness Engineer at Automattic, where I help people build kick-ass websites using WordPress.com. I love Aviation, Open Source, & WordPress.
I’ve been building websites since I was 12 years old & I absolutely love it.
Building beautiful, functional websites has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Somewhere along the line, I realised I also loved helping others do the same, which is why Customer Success holds a special place in my heart. At Automattic, I help our customers succeed everyday in building exceptional, kick-ass websites using WordPress.com. If I’m not working, I enjoy scrolling through Reddit, listening to music, watching aviation videos, or trying out a shiny new tech product.
I love to travel, and I’m a converted beach person while I used to love mountains at one point. It’s a long story, but if we ever cross paths, ask away. I’m a firm believer in open source software & love to attend events related to them, mostly WordCamps. I’m also a proud dog dad to two beautiful girls, and you’ll find more on that below. This website is built using WordPress, and uses a custom theme compatible with Full Site Editing. It’s a collection of everything & anything I appreciate in life.

Tools I use everyday
I almost exclusively use WordPress to build websites, primarily because of it’s flexibility and ease of use. My task manager of choice is Things 3, a very well designed native Mac/iOS app. In my work, I mostly use Zendesk to respond to our customers and various other tools for reporting & fixing issues. All of our communication happens over Slack, and we use P2s for asynchronous communication.
I’m a huge Apple fan, and my current phone is an iPhone 14 Pro, paired with a Series 6 44mm watch. I also use my MacBook Pro M3 Max and my M1 iPad Pro on a regular basis, the latter mostly for entertainment purposes.

Mayonnaise, aka Mayo
When we first met Mayo, she was just a tiny, fluffy bundle of joy. Her breeder was ready to write her off as a lost cause, but we saw her as a little dollop of hope. At three weeks old, Mayo was more than just a blind puppy who was separated from her mother too early – she was a pint-sized fighter with a heart as big as her appetite.
Refusing to let Mayo’s story end in tragedy, we became her unlikely heroes. She found a loving home with us and, thanks to a top vet hospital in India, regained her sight. Now at 6, our food-loving Mayo, named for her white coat, fills our lives with vibrant love and playful mischief.
Hermione, aka Mione
In New Delhi’s hustle, we found Mione, a tiny underdog outfoxed by streetwise canines. Picture this: a mini pooch in a big-dog world, navigating the urban jungle. Then she joined our family, and what a transformation! Now, six years later, she’s a canine Hermione Granger – bookish charm, minus the books.
Mione’s all about the belly rubs, casting her ‘pamper-me’ spell with gusto. She’s chill to the core, owning her ‘me time’ like a zen master. Imagine a dog with a ‘do not disturb’ aura, that’s her. She’s our little wizard in fur, conjuring cozy spots for magical naps. Our Mione, small but mighty, with a personality as enchanting as any spell.
